Rheuflix  contains the active substance of infliximab, is one of the important pharmaceutical products used in chronic inflammatory diseases treatment, particularly in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. Other uses of Rheuflix include Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and plaque psoriasis.

Artenix helps slow down the process of bone destruction in bone cancer (bone metastasis) and, in the treatment of giant cell tumour of bone, it reduces tumour growth.

Rheuflix is used in adults for the following inflammatory conditions:

 

  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Psoriatic arthritis tumour
  • Ankylosing spondylitis (Bechterew’s disease) bisphosphonate therapy
  • Psoriasis

 

In addition, this medicine may be prescribed by your doctor for the following conditions:
Adults:

 

  • Hospitalized patients with COVID-19
  • Pustular psoriasis
  • Refractory sarcoidosis
  • Colitis induced by immune checkpoint inhibitors

 

Children:

 

  • Juvenile idiopathic arthritis resistant to conventional therapies
  • Kawasaki disease resistant to IVIG
  • Multisystem inflammatory syndrome associated with SARS-CoV-2 (MIS-C)
